May 2, 2003 I had two horses stolen from SW OKC. I know the responsible party, but without proof I have and can do nothing. I am certain that the two horses that were taken are still in the Oklahoma Area: Cowboy 10yr old stock morgan qh cross gelding, bay with star; Gemmy 5yr old breeding stock paint, sorrel with star/stripe that resembles a firework going up her face. She is registered.  I was offering a 1,000.00 reward for info leading to their return and her arrest/conviction. I know it has been a long while since the incident, but hopefully someone out there has seen them? I have them both listed at netposse.com. Contact paintthataint@yahoo.com if you know where these horses are located.

My Potts-Longhorn roping saddle was stolen March 16, 2004 from my barn in Midlothian Texas. I bought that saddle new in 1968 when I was roping calves.  I carried it all over the US and Mexico when I was training race horses.  It is irreplaceable. The saddle has a Chuck Shepard tree, is “silver” mounted and buck stitched.  It has a “silver” horn cap that says “Longhorn Roper”.  This saddle was built by Billy Cook in 1967.  It is comparable to a Ryon or Cook saddle of that era. I will probably never sit on a horse again due to health problems.  I would really like to get it back.
